A Short Stop at Mo. Ca Cafe During My Night Journey

Today I would like to share another short story from one of my night trips from Banda Aceh back to Lhokseumawe last month.
That night, I was feeling quite exhausted after driving for hours. My body started asking for a short break, and I planned to stop somewhere just to refresh my mind with a cup of coffee and a plate of Acehnese noodles before continuing the journey.

Suddenly, I remembered a cafe in the Teupin Raya area called BMW (Boh Manok Weng), which literally means “egg coffee” in Indonesian. I had reviewed this place before, and I still remembered its relaxing atmosphere and unique concept.

However, when I finally arrived there, I was a little surprised because the cafe name had changed into Mo. Ca Cafe & Resto. Even though the name was different, the place still felt familiar.
From the outside, the cafe looks spacious and modern with an open-air concept that makes it comfortable for travelers who want to rest during long trips. The lighting at night also gives a warm and relaxing atmosphere.

Inside the cafe, I noticed several corners had changed compared to my previous visit. The layout looked more modern and cleaner. Unfortunately, because I was already very tired after driving, I did not manage to take many detailed photos of the interior.

The dining area itself is quite large and suitable for gathering with friends or family. The atmosphere felt calm, simple, and comfortable enough to enjoy coffee while relaxing for a while before continuing the journey.

One thing I noticed is that the menu selection is quite varied. Starting from coffee, drinks, noodles, seafood, and various fried rice menus with affordable prices. This makes the cafe suitable not only for coffee lovers, but also for visitors looking for dinner or late-night meals.

The Cashier

Personally, what I enjoyed the most was the peaceful atmosphere after a long drive. Sometimes, a simple stop at a comfortable cafe can really help restore energy and focus during a journey.
Although this visit was short and not as detailed as my previous review, I still enjoyed the experience at Mo. Ca Cafe. Maybe next time, if I pass through Teupin Raya again with more energy and time, I will explore the place more deeply and try more menu selections.
