Bolu Meranti Medan , Delicious Cakes, Modern Design, and Fast Service

Every trip has its own special memories, and for many travelers, bringing home souvenirs is one of the best ways to preserve those memories. Before continuing our journey back to Lhokseumawe after a wonderful holiday in Berastagi, our group of teachers from SMP Negeri 2 Lhokseumawe made one final stop in Medan. The destination was none other than the famous Bolu Meranti, one of the city's most iconic souvenir shops.

Located in the heart of Medan, Bolu Meranti has long been known as a favorite destination for visitors looking for delicious gifts to take home. Upon entering the store, I was immediately impressed by its modern and well-organized interior design. The spacious layout, bright lighting, and clean atmosphere created a comfortable shopping experience for customers.

One thing that caught my attention was the efficient service system implemented by the store. The process is divided into three simple stages: Order, Payment, and Packing.

First, customers choose their desired products from the menu display and place their orders at the ordering counter. The menu is clearly displayed, making it easy for visitors to browse the available cake flavors and other products.

After completing the order, customers proceed to the cashier for payment. Once the transaction is completed, the order is sent to the packing section where the products are carefully prepared before being handed over to customers. This systematic approach helps manage the large number of visitors and keeps the service running smoothly, even during busy hours.

Besides the famous Swiss roll cakes, I also noticed an espresso coffee machine near the entrance. This is a nice addition for customers who wish to enjoy a cup of coffee while waiting for their orders. The store also offers a selection of pastries and baked goods, giving visitors more choices beyond the signature cakes.
