Djaya Kuphi Premium
After a refreshing jog around the car free day area in Banda Aceh, my family and I decided to continue our morning with a cup of coffee at Djaya Kupi Premium. This coffee shop is very special to me because it belongs to my cousin. They just celebrated their grand opening a few days ago, and the event was lively and memorable, even attended by the Mayor and Vice Mayor of Banda Aceh.
From the outside, the cafe already looks inviting. The building is spacious, modern, and easy to notice from the road. One of the first things I appreciated was the very large parking area. Whether you come by motorcycle or car, you don’t need to worry about finding a place to park. This is a big advantage, especially on busy mornings after car free day when many people look for a place to rest and have breakfast.
What makes these stalls special is not only the food, but the concept. Visitors at Djaya Kupi Premium can enjoy coffee from the main cafe while choosing food from different stalls based on their taste. This creates a lively food court atmosphere, where everyone in the family can pick their favorite menu.
As we stepped inside, the atmosphere felt comfortable and welcoming. The seating area is wide and well arranged, making it suitable for families, friends, or even small meetings. The design is simple but pleasant, creating a relaxed mood for enjoying coffee and conversation.
The barista and cashier area at Djaya Kupi Premium immediately catches the eye with its clean, modern, and professional layout. The long marble counter gives a premium impression, while the open workspace behind it allows visitors to clearly see the baristas preparing drinks with focus and skill.
The arrangement feels efficient and well-organized. Baristas move comfortably without bumping into each other, showing that the space is designed for smooth workflow, especially during busy hours. The cashier spot is integrated into the same counter, making ordering and payment practical and fast for customers.
Bright lighting, neat equipment placement, and the visible coffee machines add to the authentic coffee shop atmosphere. From where customers sit, they can directly watch the coffee-making process, which creates an engaging experience rather than just waiting for an order.
Overall, this area reflects professionalism, cleanliness, and thoughtful design, not only functional for the staff but also visually pleasing for visitors.

Djaya Kupi Premium is also very thoughtful about facilities. They provide a clean mushalla for prayer, which is very helpful for visitors who want to perform their prayers without leaving the place. There is also a VIP room available for guests who prefer a more private space, perfect for meetings or special gatherings.
