A few days ago, when I was in Banda Aceh, I had the opportunity to visit Syuhada Mosque in Lamgugop. I stopped at this mosque to perform Asr prayer, and the visit left a calm and positive impression on me.
From the outside, Syuhada Mosque looks grand and beautiful. The building has a strong Islamic architectural design with clean white walls, elegant details, and domes that stand proudly. The mosque is located in a strategic area and is easy to find. When I arrived, the weather was bright, and the mosque looked even more beautiful under the blue sky.

Parking Area

One thing that immediately impressed me was the large parking area. The space is wide and well organized, making it easy for visitors to park their vehicles safely. This is very important, especially for people who come during prayer time or special events. I felt comfortable leaving my vehicle and entering the mosque without worry.

Ablution Area

Before entering the prayer hall, I went to the ablution (wudhu) area. The place was clean, neat, and well maintained. Water flowed well, and the area was comfortable to use. Clean ablution facilities really help worshippers prepare for prayer with a peaceful heart.

Inside the mosque, the atmosphere felt very calm and soothing. The prayer hall is spacious, with cool AC circulation and natural light coming through the windows. The women’s prayer area is well arranged and separated properly, providing comfort and privacy. The floor was clean and shiny, adding to the peaceful feeling inside the mosque.

The mihrab and mimbar are beautifully designed with detailed wooden carvings. They look elegant and reflect traditional Islamic art. When I looked up, the inner dome caught my attention. The dome design is simple yet impressive, making the interior feel open and spiritually uplifting.

Performing Asr prayer at Syuhada Mosque was a peaceful experience. The quiet atmosphere helped me focus better during prayer. After praying, I took some time to sit and reflect before leaving the mosque.
