Sometimes, the real motivation we need to succeed is ourselves. We don't have to wait for someone who'd push us.
Sofyan Tan's story is truly an inspiration. I pray that every struggling person today gets to that point where they can also be a blessing to others.
We see many robbed of their chances to ever "make it" because they are born into poverty, live in an environment where the policies are stifling or lack access to opportunities and relevant information (obviously because of the places they find themselves like third-tier schools, low-income jobs and skills, etc.)
I wish life could smile on all "Sofyan Tans" someday.
Thank you for your inspiring and truly remarkable comment. I've known Sofyan Tan for a long time, as he's also a journalist. However, I just learned about his difficult past and the hard work he's done. Many people are born without luck, but they work hard and consistently until they succeed.
I hope that we, including you and I, are included in the list of successful people in various fields: career, finances, social relationships, and love.
