Hello Steemit Travel friends, I hope you are healthy and blessed. I am very happy to be able to return to share my travel experiences to the Gunung Salak area, North Aceh.

During holidays and Eid celebrations, this hilly area is always crowded with tourists. This area enters the highland area, where we will see hills and valleys. Because this is included in a natural tourist destination, so many tourists are interested in visiting this location.

Another thing that attracts tourists is because here there are several cafes with a unique and attractive appearance and are in the corner of the valley. This area gives its own sensation for tourists, we can see hills and valleys. There are a number of spots that are suitable for taking photos with forest, valley and mountain backgrounds.

This forest area is included in the forest area that must be protected, because in addition to protecting natural ecosystems, this area can also be developed as a tourist destination. The development of natural tourist destinations should not damage the existing forest environment. Protecting forest ecosystems will have a good impact on the balance of nature, climate and temperature.

A beautiful forest will certainly always be interesting to visit, because we want to enjoy the cool air and beautiful nature. But if this forest has been denuded, cut or burned, it will no longer be beautiful and will bring natural disasters such as landslides, floods and extreme climate change. I myself am very happy when I can enjoy the fresh air in this hilly area.

Tourists who most often visit this area come from the cities of Lhokseumawe, Bireun, North Aceh, Bener Meriah and Takengon. Because this tourist area is on a strategic route that can connect the five districts and cities. If traveling from Lhokseumawe City, from the Medan-Banda Aceh national road cross, we can head to the Jalan KKA - Takengon route after passing through the Krueng Geukuh area.

The road to the Mount Salak area is already paved with uneven roads. If you pass this route, it's best to be extra careful because the path here is in the form of climbs, descents and bends. In addition, some holes on the road are also very dangerous, you need to avoid when driving.

Even though sometimes on normal days, this road is very quiet and rarely used by vehicles. But on holidays, especially holidays, this road will be filled with vehicles which can cause congestion. After arriving in the hilly area of Mount Salak, we can stop at several cafes in this area. One of the cafes that is popular and often visited by tourists is D'Ground Cafe at
Jl. PT. KKA- Bener Meriah, Hutan, Kec. Nisam Antara, Kabupaten Aceh Utara.

This cafe is located on the left side of the road after the bend on the KKA-Takengon road which can be reached in about 1 hour's drive from downtown Lhokseumawe. This cafe has a minimalist building that is aesthetic and looks elegant. They provide seating adjacent to the bar room, an aesthetic interior design with wall materials and wood-colored paint dominates the room.

Meanwhile, there is also outdoor seating, they provide huts and outdoor chairs close to the balcony side. Behind this cafe there is a valley and forest. They also made a balcony for self-portraits which will provide views of nature, valleys, forests and paths are the backdrop for the scenery that can be produced from your photos.

This cafe also provides drink and food menu variants, the most popular are sanger coffee and espresso coffee. The ingredients for coffee are robusta or arabica, but what is most often made is robusta coffee, which has a distinctive taste and sensation. Coffee is processed using a sophisticated espresso coffee processing machine, so it can produce a distinctive coffee taste.

Coffee that is low in acid and concentrated with a mixture of milk mixed with latte, it looks luxurious and aesthetic. Apart from coffee, they also provide a variety of fresh and fizzy drinks, but the most delicious drink is the type of hot or warm drink. Because the air here is very cool, especially when it's late afternoon, you will see fog here.

When you want food, they have a menu of ayam penyet, aceh noodles and egg martabak. After a tired drive, you can enjoy a drink and eat at this cafe while enjoying the beautiful natural nuances. The best time to be able to enjoy the sensation of nature in this area is in the afternoon, you will feel the cool air and you can see the fog on the valley side.

Visiting this area will give you a cool and very beautiful natural feel and sensation. An unspoiled forest with natural sounds that seem mysterious (sourced from animals in the forest) becomes natural music from the universe. I really love to be here and really enjoy the time I spend here with the beautiful nature.
