The Japanese fighter plane Mitsubishi Zero took off for the first time after the Second World War.

These planes played a key role in Japan's 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor.

Japanese businessman Masahiro Ishizuka bought and renewed these type 22 fighters in September.

The test flight was performed by former US Air Force pilot Skip Holm.
The plane took off from Kagoshima Air Base and lasted 20 minutes.
