Speem Improvers: Curation Guidelines

Greetings,

Today I come to share with you information about the healing process that we will adopt during the month of next month of September as curators of Speem Improvers. Our goal will be to help users improve the quality of their videos, and increase the interaction they receive on the platform.

For this we have developed a daily ranking that will order the videos according to the number of visits received. The idea is that the curation team votes for posts from 24 hours ago, thus giving a window for users to have the responsibility to share their content with their friends to improve their influence on the ecosystem. It doesn't matter if the people who watch the videos are not registered in Steem, if someone views 10% of a video their visit will be added to the counter, limited to once a day by IP.

The top 10-20 will receive votes from the curator accounts larger than usual in order to promote healthy competitiveness among content creators, we will also be looking at not to vote more than 2-3 times a week for the same authors in order to give more people the opportunity to participate in this process of self-selection of publications.

In addition, people who receive healing will receive a comment from the operator on duty highlighting tips so that the quality of the published videos is higher. We reserve the right to exclude people who ignore the Team's recommendations, because the idea is to generate constructive feedback that shields the community with higher quality content, and greater rewards for all.

Rules

To ensure transparency of the process, here are some basic rules:

• Users with a reputation greater than 50 will participate.
• We reserve the right to exclude anyone who is trying to abuse this system.
• There will only rate videos uploaded to IPFS.
• Use #steemvideo tag.

Tips

To create better quality videos, the following is recommended:

• Include subtitles in your video, suggested multilingual. You can see AI generated subtitles using speem.watch
• Make videos with intention, tell us something, teach us something. Avoid only recordings of specific moments without a clear coherence.
• Include audio to your videos. If your life does not include you, you can add music from free-to-use banks such as pixabay. Using your voice will always give you extra points.
• Define the orientation of your video. If your video is vertical, make sure that all the content you include adapts to that format and vice versa.
• Audio clarity. Avoid recording audio in places with a lot of background noise, such as constructions, outdoor places where there is a lot of wind, etc. If that's the case, you can record your video and add your voice later when you're in a quieter environment.
