Report as Steem Greeter : Steem Greeters Team updates and tasks March-April 2022
Hi Steemit Team and Steemit Community, I'm presenting my report on tasks as part of Steem Greeters Team in this post. For the past few weeks, we have made a few changes in the working system of steem greeters as explained in this post 📢 Important Updates & Reminders for Newcomers Community : March 12th 2022 few highlights on the changes are, we only supporting achievements tasks from newcomers that have at least power up 50% of their previous achievements payout and changes in the numbers of greeters that now working in the steem greeters team. Then we will be supporting newcomers that are still within 1 year of signing up to Steemit for their achievements tasks, users that are older than this still can be accepted into the program but will be without support. There are also few others not so relevant working flows that we have dismissed and also added in so our tasks are more efficient.
We have discussed this in the discord for a bit as some of the team are still not clear about the changes.
One of our team members tarpan has resigned and we will find another greeter from Bangladesh some time soon to fill his place.
My other tasks are that I'm organizing a review contest for Newcomers Community 📢 Contest for Newcomers Community: Leave a review for Steemit to support the initiative by the-gorilla as in this contest ✍️ Support Steeemit and Win STEEM
I also helped in verifying achievements tasks and catching up upvotes for expired tasks. Lastly I sometimes doing some curating on some of the good posts outside of Newcomers Community to optimize the upvote mana of steemcurator03.
Steem Greeters Team is doing a great job in Newcomers Community attending to newcomers, sometimes they might take a bit of time to get back to the newcomers as most of them also working on other few communities and also in the community curators team. We are doing our best to catch up to any expired tasks through catch-up upvote and hoping that newcomers are persistent and keep on being active in the community.
