Weekly Report as Steem Representative, December 26th, 2024, to January 1st, 2025
Hi, all fellow Steemians,
Good morning and a very "Happy New Year."
May the year 2025 bring peace, prosperity, and happiness for all of you.
We are continuously having a great time with relatives and friends partying and enjoying. In this week I did something that I hadn't done during the entire stay on this website. I withdrew 150 Steem for an experiment. I guess it was a mistake as I had a different option available, but now there is no comeback for the next few weeks. I have mentioned that in my "Goodbye 2024 Post."
Contest!!!!!! Goodbye to 2024 @dove11
Once again, this month wasn't a routine type, but I was busier offline than online, yet everything went smoothly. I have now finalized all terms and conditions for my next project in Australia starting February 2025.
On learning season, it was not different from last week because once again I did not find contests to participate in. I guess I was wrong when I said the boom in Steem rates was losing its charm, but the recovery in Steem's rate surprised me, although the fall in price of SBD surprised me.
I applied for the Steem Curator for January, but I was not on the list, but no worries, as it gives me another opportunity for traveling in India before leaving for Australia in the month of February.
I admit partying offline kept me away from Steemit as much as I wanted to be, but I still posted at least one post a day. I wrote another power-up post, adding SP to my wallet, and I am well past 42.5K SP, including the balance yet to be powered up that I intend to power up in a few days.
I see everything is normal apart from a few newcomers approaching me with their problems of not getting the approval. I refer their cases to the concerned moderators and admins for their attention.
I am proud to announce once again that I supported as many newbies as I could through various methods, including setting them as beneficiaries in my posts every week, which helps them stay positive. I always vote for the best posts according to their quality and support them in my capacity as moderator and Steem Representative.
As usual, my online or offline activities did not stop me from visiting and finding promising authors from the newcomers' community and selecting my quota of two of the best, under 50 rank, irrespective of their club status, communities, and countries.
As always, I spent time with a couple of newbies on their or my posts. I feel like more and more newbies are getting in touch with me, and that's heartwarming when they are among them as they approach me.
I give you an example here
My Newbie Program
A New Initiative to help newbies
I supported two more newbies, keeping them as beneficiaries in my different posts. As I always mention, I will keep supporting newbies because my "Newbie Support Program is working well, and I feel good when I see newbies feel motivated and respond happily through their comments.
My selected users
As a routine, I selected the first "newbie," the first beneficiary of the week, @annisaazzahra
I selected for this post:
My Steemit Introduction Post @annisaazzahra
Here is my post,
As usual, I am writing a message on the selected posts, and some of them understand the meaning of my message, so they feel happy and respond positively because they feel someone cares for them.
I posted a comment on this post, and she responded immediately.
My second newbie beneficiary is @charitoleon

Here is my post:
Throwback Sunday:A travel To A Historical Ghost Town
A message on that post, whom I have set as beneficiaries in this post:
I completed my weekly duty as moderator, which took a lot of my time but had too few travel posts, but mostly diary posts. However, five or six posts from travelers posting their travel experiences compensated for my time and efforts.
I guess I need a little more blue sky thinking and become creative that encourages me to think with no limits in the future while writing new contests. My goal is to generate innovative contest writing in the fiction genre that makes things better for me and my audience.
In the first week of December, I had started a gifting contest in Traveling Steem. I skipped the contest in the second week but skipped the second and again commenced it in the third, and I am not ashamed to admit that my last one in the last week attracted no entries. I guess I must change my strategy while doing charity/gifting/contests. I had high hopes that my fellow Steemians would exchange gifts, but there were no responses.
The Final Gift Exchange Contest for Christmas and New Year and result of last week
On my support front as a SR and a moderator, I am trying my best to support genuine queries by Steemians, both new and old, through various channels to guide them. For instance, this user writes regularly in Traveling Steem but needed a few suggestions and, to top it all, the entry of a Steemian in the discussion.
Here is screenshot of part of that conversation
I continuously show my concern about the diary section, as I reported last week. I once again bring to the kind notice of the team that most of these posts do not qualify, so I request the Steemit Team to set guidelines because most posts have nothing new but almost the same words every day, with a few changed images. I wonder what most of these users do for a living!
My last power-up and reward summary
For the first time I withdrew 150 Steem, but that was my mistake, so I converted them into SBD and brought back to my wallet but I can't revert what's already been done.
I am proud to announce that as an SR and a moderator, I try my best to support all good posts, but let me request the authorities once again that the SRs should get more power to support Steemians with extra voting power to talented Steemians.
My Account Summary
As usual, my CSI is in the range of 10-15, as I am supporting all who need my support; however, this week I could not visit as many posts because writing reports, moderation, and curation kept me busy on other assignments.
These are my regular posts.
Despite all the shortcomings, I have posted daily but I admit there are too few 'learning contests' in season 23 within my reach, but I will try to post in as many as possible in the coming days. However, this week was little too dull due to various other activities, offline and onlne.
In the end, I am doing my job without any partiality, always thinking beyond any specific country or community, and supporting everyone on the platform on an equal basis. Last but not least, thanks to all the Steemians for all they do to support me and the Steemit platform in general.
That's all for this week!
I wish you all a very happy new year, 2025.
Yours sincerely
