Week 5 feedback CR for South Africa
Week 5
Martin Luther King Jr once said;
"Somewhere along the way, we must learn that there is nothing greater than to do something for others."
As mentioned with my last report my focus is on helping fellow Steemians to write better quality posts.
My goal is to give constructive advice on 50 posts per week and also to follow up on these authors.
I only managed to give constructive advice on 32 posts.
Do I feel bad about it? Nope, not all as I know what I did I did to my best.
How
- I set up a spreadsheet on which I record the Steemian, the problems experienced, the follow up, improvements etc.
- I’ve also started a WhatsApp helping group and invite Steemians as I see the need for it.
The result
I was blown away with the improvements I have seen on the posts of some of these users. How I wish I was still a curator to be able to show them my appreciation for what they are achieving.
What I am learning through this process
- Helping others is also helping myself
- It helps to keep me in perspective
- It is not only helping others but it is also building a friendship
- We all just want a little bit of motivation
- Encouragement can bring the best out of people!

2. South Africa
At last I made contact with an existing user @mr-sentu.
The excitement was high when he answered on one of my comments on his posts. We had a telephone conversation and hope to meet in person soon.
It is happening!
3. World Smile Project
In South Africa we have something which we call “South African time”. It means that it will happen… eventually.
I had my meeting with the executive team on Monday and was hoping to drop my post during the week. Unfortunately it did not happen. All I am waiting for is the final motivational letter.
I am holding all fingers cross that it will happen this week.

BRING IT ONNN. I've got 3 this week already. I'm looking forward to helping a lot more users, because God knows we need good content on this platform anddd of course a bit of motivation for the users so that they'll know, their work is being observed and considered.

It is through our efforts and support to others that the quality of posts can improve. I have seen that in the last week.
