Before I present you with my weekly feedback, I would like to bring it to your attention that I won’t be very active for the next four days.
I have my daughter and her family visiting, and I am going to take some time off to be with them.
As so many of you often write in your posts, family time is precious time!

Steem For Ladies
Some good news! We have a new moderator in the community who will be joining my moderator training program.
Welcome to @fannyescobar from Venezuela!
We trust that you will enjoy working in our community.
In support of the Bolívar 2024 meetup in Venezuela, the community contributed 50 STEEM to this project.
My duties:
- Curation and verification of posts on my day of duty as well as filling in on the days of others
- Educating and monitoring 7 moderators
- Validating MOD verifications
- Verifying new members
- Booming posts submissions and community voting
- Taking care of community notifications and comments
- Writing of 2 community posts
- Monitoring and running of community contests
- Lending a helping hand to members of the community
- Approval of moderator contests
General:
Besides the numerous support given on the platform, this week, seven Steemains were helped via the various social media platforms, of which WhatsApp was by far the busiest.
Africa:
Supporting and helping my fellow Steemians from Africa is still a priority for me.

Advice was given to one community.

Issues encountered:
Besides the issue encountered whereby a newcomer committed plagiarism by stealing the work of another Steemian, I also received numerous messages from Steemians that are worried as they no longer receive votes from SC01 and SC02.
There are FOUR things we need to remind ourselves of all the time;
- Votes are not guaranteed.
- Just like life has its ups and downs, the same goes for Steemit. You cannot expect to receive votes all the time.
- Embrace those bad days. Make your post extra special.
- It happens to all of us!
My dad always said, “What you lose on the merry-go-round, you will make up on the swings!
