Country Representative Monthly Report for the Month of October In Steem Cameroon 07/11/2021

Greetings everyone....
The month of October has been an interesting month in Cameroon and i am therefor happy to share with you the monthly report for Steem Cameroon Community as the one of the Country representative for Cameroon. This report covers the following areas:
- Summary of steem promo activities in cameroon
- Summary of total weekly reports
- The total number of newly recruits this month
- Summary of active and Inactive Steemians in Cameroon during the month
- Plans we have to grow and develop Steem in Cameroon.
A) Summary of steem promo activities in cameroon
Within the past month, @fombae and I led to major steem-promo campaign in the region for Steem Cameroon.
The first one took place on the "International Day of the girl child" which seeks yearly better strategies to inspire and challenge the girl child and community respectively towards common growth. This year, the celebration theme was "Digital generation, Our generation".
As this day was celebrated, we used the opportunity in create awareness about steemit to "The Girl Child" as we were giving opportunity by the founder (@mbozekobrice )of dance group here in town known D4D(Dance for Development ), that brought together about 50 persons to tell them about steemit. This promotional activity took place on saturday 9th of October from 11am to 1pm, some days before the international celebration due to the on-going Anglophone crises in the region.

Summary of total weekly reports
Weekly reports here include my curation activities within the month of October using @steemcurator04 account to curate contents in Africa but placing my focus on Cameroon Steemian. The table below show a summary of my total curation activities

The total number of newly recruits this month
Via the promo-campaign, we were able to have handful of joining steemit from Cameroon and as well as we also have other Cameroon Steemians recruiting friends and family. Recruitment and retention are important to the growth and success of steem cameroon community So in as much as new steemians keep joining steemit from Cameroon we try and work on keeping old members active as we build our community account together. Summary of active Steemians in Cameroon Within the month of October
I recently compiled a list on the 28/10/2021 to show total number of active steemians in Cameroon. Details can be seen on the link below..
Plans we have to grow and develop Steem in Cameroon.
The major plan we have to promote steem here in Cameroon is via the celebration of steem Cameroon Community first Anniversary.
While still pondering to get a good venue for the anniversary celebration, the date is sure as on the 4th of December, Steem Cameroon Community would be celebrating a year of existence on the steemit block-chain. More Details about the anniversary on the promotional/awareness contest i organized about the anniversary below.
Secondly, i plan carrying out a Steem Promo Campaign in the University of Bamenda, as i was recently admitted for a master degree program in the field of Computer Engineering. Unlike last year i shared how i was disappointed and unlucky not having admitted, this year i was lucky enough to be among the 7 students that was admitted for a master degrees in computing. Screenshot below shows list of students admitted.
Once I start schooling, i plan on creating a steemit club in the university. I believe going there as a CR put me on solid foundation to carryout this task.
