RE: Steem Star Week-1 Curation Report

@sduttaskitchen - please give specific names if you want an issue to be investigated...

Sort:

@steemcurator01 Thank you for your attention.

I would like to bring to your notice that the user @mamun123456 has selected his wife's post @famillycooking1, managing it on her behalf due to her significant writing and educational challenges, even in her native language. I possess comprehensive information regarding this situation, as I have communicated with them via my community Discord.

It is notable that he is employed as a laborer in Malaysia and has a limited educational background, having not completed formal schooling. Additionally, his wife faces difficulties in writing correctly in her native language. This context raises concerns about the reliability of this user's background, particularly since both he and some of his acquaintances have been implicated in unethical practices.

Moreover, I concur with your observation that many individuals today do not engage meaningfully with written content, a concern that resonates deeply with me. There are allegations concerning this user’s behavior, including the operation of multiple accounts with relatives, spamming, and attempts at reward farming during his tenure on Steemit.

Nevertheless, I believe that high-quality content exists both within this community and externally. It appears that user @mamun123456 is attempting to secure rewards through both accounts.

Do you think he is the only one? With my training in this field, I can give you a whole lot of them with concrete proof. But that's how the things seem to be working here.

I understand, but while participating in the Curation team, if an individual selects top nominations for another account and solely supports content that lacks value, which is of the utmost importance, it undermines the integrity of the process. The Curation account is a responsibility that must be managed with honesty. If you possess concrete evidence, why not bring it to light? As responsible Steemians, if we become aware of unethical practices, we have a duty to communicate these to the Steemit team, as I did when I provided evidence of a scam during my tenure as a Steem representative. I trust you recall this event.

Isn't the main problem of SC team they don't go for anything? They don't take a topic and search for related content. I never see an SC leave comments or tell an author to make some corrections.
If the entire team should agree about a nomination the team is wrong and not one person or? How come new SCs aren't instructed/guided?
I remember we talked about that longer ago. @patjewell and I both suggested that not everyone can be an SC, one should be able to read, write, comment, understand and a training wouldn't be bad at all.

I take my hat of for you. It takes courage to speak out and not hide behind the "many do that, what's the problem" but the good SCs are getting rare.

I wish you a great day filled with love.

It feel this topic is worth to talk about ... again!

Isn't it the job of an experienced person to check whom he works with and to tell how to work? I find this a strange response. Even if this is seems the how it works here, we can still make a difference or?

All of a sudden I am happy I am single without friends.
a great day!

Unfortunately I am not on telegram but I have explained my situation to s.dutta on discord. Being single without friends is your choice otherwise everyone is your fan and friend.

? I wish I understood what you meant... I doubt everyone is or would be my fan and friend.

@sduttaskitchen First of all, thank you for revealing the issue. Actually, I made a mistake here because this is the first time in my life that I have curated in a team and that is why I made this mistake because I did not know any such system. Now that I have made a mistake, if you tell me what to do, I could have learned. Because one thing is that people learn from mistakes, if they do not make mistakes, they never learn.

You are very experienced and at a very high level on this platform. Since I am a very poorly educated person, I apologize to you. Such a mistake will not happen again.

Your team members didnt tell you how to work? There's only one thing I can say about your nomination: the entire team agreed since that is what the Steemit Team set as a rule.

Your response reminds me of the next phrase (I call it a way tolie out and take the freedom you like): It's so much easier to say sorry than to ask for permission.
