I don't understand the question. Steemit is a panel we work on ,we always refer to it as such. Hive is also another panel.
I never refer to Steemit as a panel but social media or a platform. I assume this is a mistake of the translate.
A panel to me is a select group taking decisions about something.
When I joined Steemit, the user who motivated me called it that, I call it that too, even Hive.
And you never felt the need to check the meaning of the word? You simply use it no matter if it's right or wrong? To be honest not even my children would do that. I taught them to always question and wonder, to not believe what is said blindfoldly, bo matter if it's a teacher, commercial or the government and today I would add AI.
I took the time to look into the cambridge dictionary and here are the answers:
. A panel is a small group of people like a jury
. Instrument panel
. A panel of wood
So Steemit and Hive are no panels but platforms no matter what the one who introduced/helped you said.
Always check! It's what intelligent people do. Question and search for different answers. Never be satisfied with the first AI answer or nonsense people say. The internet has answers but also spreads a lot of lies.
