Give to the Gain
It’s March, International Women's Day today, and in parts of the Northern Hemisphere, we’re enjoying spring weather, which is a wonderful start to the season. We’ve also noticed more newcomers and creative individuals emerging, which has made us really happy.
This week’s disappointment, however, has been the high number of duplicate posts and AI-generated content, which means upvotes are going to a smaller group than we’d like.

Beautiful memories are shared about a sweet, tender, handy and courageous mother with a beautiful flower garden.
"We watched her from a distance in silence, humming a tune she heard on the old radio. For a moment, her silence seemed as if she were waiting for the end. She always wore something floral—a shawl, a dress, an apron, a ribbon. She told us that the patterns reminded her of her childhood in the countryside of Colonia Tovar..."

The experience of the children's parade at the Sitges, España carnivals is described with beautiful photographs and interesting cultural facts.
"It is definitely fascinating to learn about the different behaviors observed from one place to another.. As we can see, at this time of year tradition and religion intertwine, creating a space where the cultural and the spiritual coexist naturally."

Food during Ramadan, does everyone prepare in advance?
"I don't like to spend much time in the kitchen during Ramadan, but since iftar is something that is necessary for everyone, I go to the kitchen after Asr prayer to prepare it, and my iftar is ready by Maghrib prayer."

Drawing natural elements such as the inside of an oyster in a very subtle way with a monochromatic technique and aspiring to the greatest possible realism is, in my opinion, very well achieved in this work.
"With charcoal pencils, I aim each time to focus a bit of realism in my illustrations, today with some pearls in an oyster shell and others outside of them."

A captivating review that introduces us to a film based on chilling true events.
"The black and white colour scheme in which the film is shot, old interiors, shabby walls of buildings and premises, accompanied by a hypnotic soundtrack press like a concrete slab, creating an oppressive atmosphere that grows as events develop. In this film, people's actions break morality through the knee, which scares no less than screamers in horror films."

Three questions are discussed regarding writing stories, evaluating photos, and the topics that have progressed the most on Steemit.
"The present century, with the inclusion of screens and the digital world, has created a generation addicted to dopamine, making it increasingly difficult to capture attention through art. We struggle against effects, banal images, sounds and waves that affect the brain. And while we have free AI to HELP, in 99% of cases, it's misused."

What if small animals terrify you? Will you rescue one in need?
"I stood there for what felt like forever, fighting a war inside my own head. My fear was screaming "NO!", but my heart was whispering "You have to help it." Finally taking a few deep breaths, I grabbed a plastic wrapper and wrapped it around my hand. It was my "safety shield." Before I could think twice and stop myself, I jumped into the pool! I carefully scooped the little guy up. And you know what? Once he was in my hand, he wasn't scary at all. He was incredibly cute. He was tiny, soft and was just looking around, probably as scared as I was."
