Only (2020) – Movie Trailer

The movie Only is coming from a relatively young distribution company named Vertical Entertainment, and if you are in the movie world, you will know that they had some nice movies out in their short history. The company is only 8-years-old and new movies are coming regularly from them… The movie Only is one of them, and it is a Sci-Fi drama with interesting twist and story written and directed by Takashi Doscher.

The story follows a young couple that tries to survive after a comet releases a mysterious virus, which starts to kill all the women in the world. For some reason, Eva isn’t infected (yet?), but her life becomes every day worse and worse as she becomes the only woman in the world. The threat isn’t a virus anymore, but the people around her…

The director and the writer of the movie is Takashi Doscher, a well-known director, writer and producer by movies like Still (2018), A Fighting Chance (2010), or Snow on Tha Bluff (2011). He has also directed a lot of short movies (write and direct).

In the main roles are BAFTA nominee Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire (2008), Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011), Immortals (2011)), Leslie Odom Jr. (Murder on the Orient Express (2017), Red Tails (2012), TV Series Smash (2012-2013)), Chandler Riggs (TV Series The Walking Dead (2010-2018), Get Low (2009), Mercy (2014)), Jayson Warner Smith (American Made (2017), TV Series The Walking Dead (2016-2018), Rectify (2013-2014)), Joshua Mikel (TV Series The Walking Dead (2016-2018), Game Night (2018), The Righteous Gemstones (2019)) and others.
