When truth falls silent... and the soul speaks.
The deepest moment I've ever experienced wasn't a moment of success... but a moment of truth.
A moment when I sat with myself, without masks, without justifications, without running away.
A moment when I looked inward with honest eyes and saw what I'd been putting off for so long.
Yes... we all wear masks: a mask of strength so we don't show our weakness, a mask of indifference so we don't feel pain, and a mask of laughter so no one knows we get tired like everyone else.
But the truth?
The truth always comes out when we're alone, when the world quiets down and only the voices of your thoughts remain, when you can't escape yourself... because it's with you wherever you go.
In psychology, this moment is called the moment of deep self-awareness—a moment when something inside you lights up, and you understand why you're hurting, why certain situations keep repeating themselves, and why you choose things you know don't suit you.
This confrontation isn't easy, but it's one of the most important steps in emotional maturity.
Because you can't change what you don't acknowledge exists. You can't heal a wound you don't want to see.
And after every inner confrontation... comes that tranquility.
A tranquility like a cool breeze after a long night of reflection, a tranquility beyond words,
because it's not just a feeling...
but a rebirth.
This tranquility means you understand yourself better,
that you've forgiven something you were carrying,
or let go of something that no longer suits you, or made peace with a part of yourself you were afraid of.
And this kind of tranquility... is what makes you anew.
It makes you a more conscious, more mature person,
and closer to your true self, which you sometimes stray from without realizing it.
Don't lose this tranquility.
And don't be afraid of those honest moments.
For every inner confrontation brings you one step closer to the person you are meant to be.

If it only was that easy. If it comes to it people are without courage, slaves of parents, teachers, partners, the internet. So as soon as that moment of light disappeared because you have to get back at workdad calls, the one you like is too scared to take a step... You pick up that mask. Since we all are animals of bad habits and strength is needed to start something new. It takes courage and the reward will be emptiness and loneliness.

The truth is a whirlwind that sweeps away windows, glass, lives. No one escapes its subtle swells. But I feel that everything is relative. The society around us conditions us enormously, unless you're disgustingly rich, as someone once told me. Although my appreciation of wealth also brings with it a constant struggle of people who need your help. You could move to an island, lay a minefield, add a side of crocodiles, and only enter by helicopter.
If we look inward, then, as you say, we are assailed by so many fears that we seem like Alice in Wonderland. We are hostages to our own fears. Then there is the power to manage the information that comes to us. Nothing that we don't choose can affect us. No one enters our lives if we don't allow it, and at the end of the (mental) tunnel, we also value things based on the knowledge we have. Beliefs, expectations, and mood affect us.
It happens that today we desire something, and tomorrow we might wake up and it may no longer be important.
I don't believe Alice feared anything. She was just a little girl with fantasy. The Alice Syndrome has nothing to do with a bored girl her fantasy.
I don't agree that nothing can affect us unless we choose for it, but those crocodiles and the island sound perfect (I am afrain within my family we already fight the abandoned ones).
A super creative day/week
