I found a boat near a lake.

Look at this picture. It’s an old boat. I found it near Lake Chilka in India when I was there on vacation. It had drifted in from the Bay of Bengal and then tidal waves carried it toward the lake . At first, I thought the boat had no value because it was broken and worn out. But when I climbed inside, I discovered it was actually very valuable because it had been built in the 15th century. From an archaeological point of view, it was a treasure.
I called the police, but they thought I was joking. They left it unattended, and eventually I went back to my hotel.
The next day, I returned to the shore and found that the boat was gone. It had probably floated back out to sea with the tide. Losing it felt like a real tragedy because it had a historical importance. I was deeply saddened and eventually left the area.
A month later, I traveled to Chennai and there, near the seashore, I found the same boat again. I was amazed. But as I approached it, the weather suddenly turned violent. Huge waves rose from the sea and the boat disappeared once again.
Was it a haunted boat? I don’t know. But it continues to haunt me in my dreams. I see myself inside it when waves crash around me. The boat shatters, I start drowning and that make me to wake up.
