That stupid crow.
I had been suffering from hunger for many days. I had lost everything I owned, and I had no choice left but to steel or beg on the streets of London. Life had taken a bitter turn when I undertook this journey. It was a long and perilous one for me.
I wanted to escape from my family members, who had been exploiting me. I was only fifteen years old at the time. I stole just one hundred pounds from my stepmother and hid in a compartment of a coal-carrying train. Before I reached London, a gang of homeless boys caught me and stole everything I had. I was left with nothing.
In that desperate situation, I stole food from a shop. I managed to take some dried fish, an egg and half an orange. I was somehow planning to cook them. I placed the food on an old, rusted wooden table standing on the street.
Then a crow swooped down and carried away the plastic bag containing the dried fish. Before I could react, it had flown into the sky. I was left with only the egg and half an orange. I cursed that stupid crow and then immediately ate the orange and cracked the egg open, drinking its contents. That gave me a little strength.
I was then determined to survive. So, I decided to steal more food from the shops.

Just like Oliver Twist! Great story!
