I'm glad to see there are still people with ideas that go against the prevailing current of thought. The world needs to wake up from so much fake news and manipulation. A truly good person who advocates for peace doesn't turn a blind eye and allow the continued bombing of defenseless people.
Clearly, we'll have a full-fledged Hitler, much more dangerous, since current weapons can turn the earth to dust several times over.
I don't think the world will ever wake up; that's impossible. We mustn't forget that we've all been brainwashed by the news we've been fed since childhood. Schools are a very good example of this. History also changes over time and is supposedly seen and told through the eyes of the people of today. The perspective changes, whether intentionally or not. I'm going to go with intentional, because spreading hatred is also clearly part of the Western world. There always has to be one the bad guy, so that another can appear good. After the Second World War, we also said: never again. Well, we are doing exactly the same thing and we have continued to do exactly the same thing. Even agreements made have never been honoured; they are trampled underfoot.

Perhaps the world will only wake up in those final split seconds as the bomb explodes in its face. 'Never again' is just hollow speech— same thing happening with old patterns in dressed up in new terms, clever ruses and twisted justification.
We seem to live in a world where the 'peacemakers' are the ones dropping the bombs, so it’s no surprise that 'diplomacy' has devolved into the art of stealing someone else’s badge of honor. Apparently, if you throw a large enough tantrum and pull the right strings, you get to wear the medal—even if someone else’s name is engraved on it.
