Sinky has no tail, I am sure that one of its first owners took it off so I can't see if it is wagging its tail or not but what I saw was it once tried to bite or so this stray dog which went close to it when we were still living in the other house because Sinky was tied near the gate at that time, if it weren't for the gate he could have fought the stray dog or maybe mate to it.
But at least Sinky is stimulated when it sees us or my sister or when fed. Well, it is the dog of my sister so it has to "cope" with its situation. But for me I rather see Sinky on a long leash rather than being caged because it gets to be smelly when it would lie down to a previously defecated surface of its cage even though the cage is cleaned regularly. But if it is on a leash it can at least try to avoid lying down to its poop.
The problem with the dog is the smell it produces due to its situation. That is how they keep Sinky and I can't do anything about it. For Sarah, my parents manages her and we keep Sarah clean with no problem about her smell, she takes a bath regularly. @wakeupkitty
Dogs nmdon't need to bath but I agree with yiu that a caged life, avery small cage, will not benefit a dog. I wouldn't like to clean that cage either and wonder how they do that. The dog stays inside if they scrub the cage?
A scared dog barks and attacks as well.
No tail is common for many breeds but today it's forbidden with us.
