Bus to Ekiti

(This post was written yesterday, finished 10pm but couldn't upload pics due to network issues so had to wait)

Hello ccc fams, welcome to my blog. It's been a long, stressful day for me, and it's time for bed.

I just made it to Oye, Ekiti, from Odomola, Epe, Lagos, and am now staying at a lecturer's family place (he's my dad's friend from Igbara Odo; my dad grew up in Ekiti before going to Lagos in search of a good job). The journey, which we started by 8 am and ended at 6:bla bla pm (don't mind me), was stressful, although eye-opening. Can you believe a passenger fight broke out at the Ijebu-Ode garage where we were to take a bus to Ibadan? The woman was asked to sit in the back by the garage manager, or Agbero (if there's a Nigerian here, please correct me because I can't translate "Agbero" to English, so I used that based on my thoughts). The woman was insisting on sitting in front, which would block those entering to the back. People told him not to bother, that they could sort it out, only for the man to go around the car saying some unheard shit and get a loud slap from the woman. We were angry at the woman because he wasn't actually talking to her. That's how a large quarrel between the woman who refused to sit behind and the agbero started. The woman was asked to take another bus since she was delayed, but she insisted on following that bus. People started saying she's a devil and all that and that she must enter with us so she won't curse us with road accidents and all. I can't really explain it all, but I just laughed a bit and thought if it was the old me, I'd be eating popcorn like it's a TV drama. To cut the long story short, everyone on the bus got out and wanted to collect back their money, which made them quickly resolve it, and we went off to a new garage in Ibadan. After that, it was off to Ado. (There's something great about traveling with Dad; he buys you stuff till you're full because there's a lot to try on the road. Dodo ikire, Akara OSU, corn, and other stuff. Forgot to take pics of the foods I bought on the way, although I still have one orange left in my bag.

We've landed safely, and glory to God Almighty.

I'm off to bed. Goodnight, Fam
Pics from the maps- I didn't screenshot when I got off the transport but it was around 6pm not exactly. The time was less than the 12hrs I predicted
