Take a Dog and Teach It to Attack!

It was a hot afternoon. After all the children had gone home, Basit and Malik decided to go to a house nearby to pluck mangoes. It was all Basit’s idea to climb over a fenced house to steal mangoes because he couldn't resist seeing the ripe ones every day. Normally, he would have gone alone, but this time he decided his best friend should go with him so they could enjoy it together. Malik refused at first, but his mind was changed by the fact that he hadn't eaten that fruit since the last season.
That afternoon, they climbed the tall fence as usual, one helping the other up. They climbed the tree and started plucking mangoes. Basit was plucking, and Malik was collecting. They were happy and didn't know it was the house of a dog trainer. The trainer was said to be a lunatic who would traumatize thieves that entered his domain with his huge-headed, scary dogs. He would make them teach a crazy dog a trick before he could spare them. Many had ended up infected with rabies just by entering his place.
Bark! A loud sound came from behind. Malik was the first to hear it and told Basit to get down quickly. When Basit got down, they packed their stuff and were about to climb the fence when a huge hand grabbed their shirts.
The man held both of them down as his ten big dogs approached. With a signal, all of them sat down but looked at the two kids like they hadn't eaten for days. Drool kept falling from their mouths like a waterfall.
"So, you two had the mind to enter my house, eh? Don't worry, you just have to pick a dog and teach it something."
"Please, sir, we won't do it again," Malik said, already crying. His pants were wet from him peeing himself.
"Shut up!" the man yelled.
"Now take a dog and teach it how to attack!" the man said to the two kids, who knew for sure they'd be dead meat if the dog attacked. The dogs could barely restrain themselves from turning the kids into dinner. Luckily, there was a honk. The owner of the house had arrived. The dog man was just the security guard.
The man rushed to open the gates. When the owner came in, he saw the dogs and the scared children in front of his house. The security guard explained, and the owner questioned him. Luckily, the owner said he should let them go and let them take the mangoes with them.
The two kids said, "Thank you, sir," in tears as they both ran on their heels.
"Basit, you almost killed my mother today, you know?" Malik said.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know there were dogs in that house. It's not my first time there, you see," Basit replied.
"Next time, you should ask about a place before you go there, you moron. Is mango worth our lives?"
"You didn't say that when you almost fell off the tall fence. Anyway, are you eating the mangoes or not?" Basit asked.
"Why not, after risking my life for them?"
The two kids ate the mangoes they had plucked as evening came. They learned a lesson that day, but who knows if what they learned was enough to change Basit's heart? He still had no sense of remorse. Malik worried a bit for him as he ate.
