RE: The Old Woman with the Knife

I just watched the trailer, and I’m hooked—I really love this kind of dark noir, vigilante-style 'dark justice' story. I know I’ve seen the lead actress somewhere before, but I can't quite place her.

There are so many brilliant veteran actors in Korea that I love to watch; some of them can look so 'brutish' and tough, yet they play the 'good guy' roles so convincingly.

I looked her up on Wiki and realized she’s 63, and she looks so cool! I wanna grow old like that too. 😎

It's justice! I love it too and in my next life I will be hit too since actually that's what she is although she is her own boss.
Tough indeed, I wouldn't call her brutish and the same counts for many other actors in this type of films and series. They clearly show their feelings which is vulnerability as well.

Of course we grow old like this!

She's definitely not brutish; she doesn't have that kind of vibe. But she is an amazing actress. Usually, I find myself loving the performances of the supporting actors in most shows more than the main characters. Many shows have specific criteria for the main cast since they are the 'front page'—they have to be younger and good-looking. It’s nice to have these realistic shows that use a 'real face' for a story.

I agree with you. This is way more realistic and for sure women like these exist.
