I love crazy stories like this, where what the narrator tells us turns out to be something entirely different from the truth! I've just finished two K-dramas with a similar plot. They misdirect you and make you think it's one thing, and even when you know there's going to be a plot twist, you still end up thinking, 'Hey, what just happened?!' or 'They got me again.' I've never enjoyed being gaslighted so much, haha!
