Today, it was a lucky day for a colleague.

Today, we celebrated a colleague’s birthday. He's just about to cut the cake when he slipped and nearly fell onto it. In an attempt to save the cake, he grabbed the edges of the table on which it was placed. He saved it but the burning candle on top brushed against his nose. Luckily, he wasn't hurt.
It sounds like a slapstick something I can rarely laugh about since people are awfully hurt. It is amazing this didn't happen to your coworker. Did blow the candle and made a wish?
I think he was too excited. He slipped but luckily escaped.
