Emptiness is a void, whether visible or not.
Some folks are surrounded by friends, a large number, yet they feel empty.
It's just the void all their friends cannot fill.
They need closure more than their friends.
Or perhaps their friends are not sufficient.
Emptiness is from within.
It has nothing to do with the outward or physical state.
The physical state of emptiness would be in material things but as a person, you feel emptiness from within.
This is why it is important to keep yourself whole always.
