RE: CONTEST 3.46: What does CCC mean to you?

in CCC5 years ago

Hey,

Thank you for all your help, @wakeupkitty - admin of #ccc - @team-ccc!

I see that this is quite a chore getting people to read the rules and to follow them.

You'll have earned 1/2 of the accumulated rewards in this @team-ccc account and are authorized to select winners from here on out till Christmas in manners similar to what I have been formulating:

How Rewards pool will be distributed:

  1. "1/2 or 50% of what the post earned based on the payout" is shared by those who submitted a valid entry
  2. the "other 1/2 or 50% of what the post earned based on the payout" is shared by those who's entry is drawn (currently up to 6 winners-persons will win - once a person wins, all his/her entries will not be in the following drawings)
  3. All other earnings will be shared as bonus for other incentives that is to grow the #ccc community and increase meaningful engagements. The entry that is drawn to win will only get the bonus IF an invited person participated AND acknowledged the invitation.
  4. There will be 7 winners drawn.
    The rewards will be based on the first 7 Fibonacci numbers:1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, and 13.
    The sum is 33 = 1 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 5 + 8 + 13
    - Top/1st Prize gets 13/33; 2nd prize gets 8/33; and so on.
    - 1/33 is approximately 3% hence 3%, 3%, 6%, 9%, 15%, 24%, and 39% (I'll round up to: 3%, 3%, 6%, 9% 10%, 15%, 24% 25%, and 39% 40%) are the prized from the drawing for winners rewards pool (note: This adds up to 102% but the extra 2% will come from me and not from the rewards pool).
    - If the author of the winning entry has invited and was accepted and acknowledged the invitation, a proportional bonus will be shared 25%/75% (winning author).

Fibonacci number - Wikipediahttps://en.wikipedia.org › wiki › Fibonacci_number
A tiling with squares whose side lengths are successive Fibonacci numbers: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13 and 21. In mathematics, the Fibonacci numbers, commonly denoted ...

This is tentative and could be changed at any time to encourage participation, engagement, and inviting new members to #ccc

I am not the Adm of @team-ccc more like the postman. I prefer more SP for hive-166850 to give better upvotes so I work on that now (plus my account to give more valuable upvotes).

To some it's hard to follow all rules it was the same with me as I just started. Not adding the CCC invitation underneath is the #1. So is the lack of participation (reading, commenting, upvoting) and the 200+ words. If hosts do not correct and make those who don't follow the rules even win there's no need to follow them or?

Summer/vacations will be there and I doubt the amount of participants will increase. Most participants go for the fast money, not perhaps winning a high amount on the long term. They are spenders not investors.

I save your way of rewarding and see if it works out for me.
