Contest - week 5 - “Share and comment on your image.” Winner week 4
This week's contest theme is: “Share and comment on a photograph.”

This week's contest will be based on a photograph of your choice. Try to take an interesting photograph with a caption that helps us learn more about nature. Our content will always be based on nature, products, uses, etc.
It consists of sharing and commenting on a single image of your choice about the nature around you, with a text of at least 70 words.
Share and comment on your image.
Today I bring you an image of a plant called Zamioculca. It is a plant that, according to popular culture, brings good luck to the home where it is found. As you can imagine, this means that it is one of the most sought-after plants in my small nursery.

Popular culture has many friends, as the lyrics of a song from my country say. It has many friends because, even though people work hard, they give in to superstition to create an environment that opens the doors to abundant sales.
I especially respect everyone's opinion, but I trust my own efforts more and believe more in what I do than in what popular cultural trends can offer the world.
I invite you to share your unique image and also send us a text of at least 70 words to delight us with your anecdotes.
Don't forget to leave the hashtags. See you later in the comments. Check out other users' texts and participate.
Now I ask you to share your best image. The image you select is the only one you will post in the comments for this contest. Also, write a text of at least 70 words explaining your image.
I look forward to seeing your image and comment.
Use three hashtags when posting your entry: #ccc, #comment, and #write.
You can write in the language of your choice, as long as you include an English translation in both the comments and your entry.

I would like to participate in this contest by showing and talking to you about this small thistle plant, which I commonly know as Holy Thistle. It is very common where I live, and it begins to appear when the rainy seasons begin. It is commonly the food of many birds, mainly wild pigeons.
This plant has a large number of thorns on its leaves, and if you try to touch it, it can prick you and is very painful. This plant is also medicinal, and in some countries, oil is even extracted from its seeds to make soap.
This plant is very curious; besides having very sharp thorns, if you manage to break its stem, it can exude a latex or sap that is yellow and sometimes even orange.
This plant is spectacular. I hope you enjoyed learning about its interesting features. See you very soon.

Here in Venezuela there is a plant that I don't know, but I have read that it can be used to make soap and wash clothes.
This thistle plant really catches my attention, as it has thorns, so people who use its soap or medicinal benefits must be very careful.
I loved learning something new today.
Best regards.

I have also read about a plant where they make soap. I even read that during the soap shortage we had, people turned to that plant again. I hope someone brings it to the contest.
Hi, thank you so much for leaving such a lovely comment. Here in my country, we also have a plant with the same characteristics as the one you mentioned; it's called lye and it's also used for washing clothes and making soap. I'm so glad you learned something new; it's always a pleasure to share interesting things with others. Thank you so much, see you later!
It's not a plant I've seen before. I find it interesting that its stem oxidizes and changes colors when cut.
In your country, what action do they use it for?
Thank you. Although this plant is well-known in my country, it's not widely used, though some people do use it. For what? Well, they use its seeds to trap pigeons with a system of traps, using them as bait. Of course, this is what I know about this plant; it may have other uses in other parts of the country where I live. Thanks for asking. See you later.
I am here again with the intention of participating in this excellent contest promoted by @gertu where we can share our photographs related to my beloved nature.
Those who know me know that I love to capture magical moments that nature gives us, and that is why every time I see a sunrise, sunset, or beautiful sky, I take the time to capture the moment.
I had the wonderful opportunity to spend Saturday with my friends at Francisco de Miranda Park, better known as Parque del Este.
I should mention that I hadn't been to the park in years, and the last time I went, I only made it to the entrance, but this time I explored the park in different directions.
Although we didn't see everything, I had the opportunity to visit the Independencia Bridge and take this extraordinary photograph of my beloved Cerro el Ávila, which is currently named Waraira Repano.
From there, you can see the Humboldt Hotel, located on Pico Ávila, also known as Pico Humboldt, which has an altitude of 2,250 meters above sea level, and the beauty that these mountains offer us from this bridge and other points within the park.
You can also see the Eastern Peak (2,640 meters above sea level) and the Western Peak (2,480 meters above sea level) and, of course, the Naiguata Peak, which is the highest at 2,765 meters above sea level.
I invite my friends @zorajaime, @mayberling, and @fannyescobar to participate.

It is a beautiful landscape that forms Cerro el Ávila. The peak is called the same as that of the city of Merida, Humboldt, because it was this same person who climbed both peaks, hence its name. I really like the view of the Ávila from this angle.
Thank you for your participation and the information you have given us.
Thr photo above is the nature I like. Indeed it's not real but it does fascinate me and I find the creativity it's made with awesome.
To those who love to have an aquarium this is their chance. Although that little red fish is very expensive and meant to decorate a tree with, I do believe that it's altogether way more cheaper than a real aquarium. If real, you need way more than a watertank, water, plants, fishand food and lights. The plus of this one is you can decorate it in yiur own style and the fish will never get sick, eat from your plants. You don't need a heather or filter and the best of all is that if the power is switched off they won't die and... You can go on vacation without the stress of someone taking care of your watertank.
@lupega what do you think? @suryati1, how about you?

Wow! Even though those fish aren't alive, they're gorgeous! I loved the details of that place; it looks like a natural marine habitat. I tried raising fish once, but I wasn't very good at it; I think it was because they didn't have much space. @wakeupkitty, that place looks beautiful. See you!

I thought they were real fish until I saw one of them hanging by a thread. Haha, this creativity is impressive!
I have my aquarium with only one fish; it has no lights, no oxygen, or anything other than stones and water.
What I put on it every day is food, but it's not that daily either.
this is so amazing, i will come soon
We are waiting for you my friend.
God willing, I will come soon if circumstances permit.
👍
I love aquariums. I had a large fish tank a long time ago. Indeed, you have to take great care with their feeding, water, and general health.
I love your idea. The photograph is beautiful, and there's no reason for us to worry.

Hahaha, I think it's the best aquarium I've ever seen. It's similar to having a pet like this, but ideal in my opinion.
It is a good idea to have stuffed pets. "Don't worry, be happy-"
@gertu when was the last time you saw @ disconnect? I can't remember seeing the mesaage since weeks.
The same thing happens to me, I haven't seen it come through my contest for several weeks. I no longer remember how long; a month, month and a half?
I powered up the winners with 2 SP each.
Congratulations @suryati1 and @sariana23
