Geese are animals with a certain temper. People who own them tell me that having a goose is like having a dog.

They guard the house, and if a stranger enters, they don’t hesitate to attack to defend their territory.

Although I now live with my parents in the countryside, I don’t think they’ve ever had geese. They did have Muscovy ducks, which are a species of duck very similar to regular ducks.

Nowadays we only have hens and a couple of quails, but they live in the chicken coop because the dogs are a bit like hounds and think they’re hunting dogs.

Maybe when I have a larger space, I’ll keep geese as pets and guardians, because my dogs are a bit timid.

Los gansos son animales que tienen cierto genio. Me cuentan personas que tienen estos animales que tener un ganso es como tener un perro.

Que cuidan la casa y que si entra algún extraño no dudan en atacarlos para defender su territorio.

Aunque vivo ahora con mis padres en el campo, creo que ellos nunca han tenido gansos. Sí han tenido Marruecos, que es una especie de Anade muy parecido a los patos.

Hoy día solo tenemos gallinas y un par de codornices, pero viven en el gallinero porque los perros son un poco sabuesos y se creen perros de caza.

Tal vez cuando tenga un espacio más grande tenga gansos de mascota y guardianes, porque mis perros son un poco miedosos.
