“The bigger, the better” is the phrase my mother always says when it comes to choosing vegetables or fruits. It also seems to be a phrase often used in diverse contexts, frequently with a sexual undertone.

In the case of women, it applies to breasts, to the point that even soap operas have revolved around this attribute. Those of my generation and side of the world will probably remember Catalina, the protagonist of Sin senos no hay paraíso, a Colombian telenovela that introduced the narco theme into stories that had always been about love. Well, almost always.

But that saying, “The bigger, the better,” is not entirely wrong. Even though size itself may not be an advantage for the one who possesses the attribute, it often is for others. In the case of women, it is the onlookers who enjoy it, because carrying them is another story.

But as a woman, I can say that unless your profession is modeling, pornography, or that profession called the oldest in the world, it is completely false that the bigger your breasts are, the better.

And it doesn’t apply to a house either, unless you have staff to take care of maintenance and cleaning. Well, for some other things it might be true, but that’s something we can’t talk about here 😉

En el caso de las mujeres, se aplica a los senos, al punto que hasta telenovelas han girado en torno a este atributo. Bueno, casi siempre.

Pero eso de que "Cuánto más grande mejor", no está tan equivocada, a pesar de que el tamaño por sí mismo no sea una ventaja para quien posea el atributo, sí suele serlo para los terceros. En el caso de las mujeres, son quienes miran los que disfrutan, porque cargarlos, ya es otra historia.

Pero como mujer, puedo decir que a menos que tu profesión sea el modelaje, los vídeos porno, o esa profesión llamada la mas vieja del mundo, es totalmente falso de que mientras más grandes sean tus senos será mejor.

Y tampoco se aplica a una casa, a menos que tengas personal que se encargue del mantenimiento y la limpieza. Pero bueno, para alguna que otra cosa sí lo será, pero es algo de lo que no se puede hablar aquí 😉
