Movie Enthusiast

I think I became a movie enthusiast ever since I got Wi-Fi at the shop. Although we had initially installed it for the security cameras, now the main use we give it is to watch movies and series.

Since working in a grocery store mostly consists of waiting for customers, there are certain hours of the day when not a soul shows up, so you can watch movies peacefully.

Before internet access on phones, the only way to watch movies was to rent them. First came VHS (Yes, I’m from that era 😆), then DVDs, and those with a better budget could go to the cinema.

Cinema in my country became expensive when neighborhood theaters disappeared first, then city theaters, and shopping centers took over.

So, back then, it wasn’t easy to watch premieres, which is why I’m about 30 years behind on movies. But that’s actually an advantage for me, because now all the movies available for free on Pluto TV feel “new” to me 😂

Aficionada al cine

Creo que me volví una aficionada al cine desde que tengo wifi en el negocio, si bien lo habíamos contratado inicialmente por las cámaras de seguridad, ahora el mayor uso que le damos es ver películas y series.

Cómo el trabajo en una tienda de víveres consiste en esperar clientes, hay ciertas horas del día en las que no aparece un alma así que se puede ver películas con tranquilidad.

Antes del acceso a internet en teléfonos lo único que se podía hacer para ver películas era alquilarlas, primero fueron los VHS (Sí, soy de esa época 😆) luego los DVD, y los que gozaban de un mejor presupuesto, ir al cine.

El cine en mi país se volvió caro cuando murieron primero los cines de barrio, y luego los de ciudad, cuando aparecieron los shoppings centers.

Entonces, en aquella época, no era sencillo ver estrenos , por lo cual estoy como 30 años atrasada en películas, lo cual es una ventaja para mí, porque así todas las películas que están gratis en Pluto TV para mi son "nuevas" 😂
