RE: Why people are so scared of a logical debate?

in CCC29 days ago
I was invited to your post by its catchy title. I was hoping to see reasons pointing to why people avoid logical arguments or conversations. But what I found was a different issue. Though interesting too..

Have you considered whether the downvote was an error?

But if it was intentional, then that was poor and uncalled for. The behaviour does not align with true faith.

My position

I am a religious person, a person of faith.
Just as I don't expect you to downvote my post simply because I am expressing my belief in a personal God. I also believe you have every right to express your opinion without being downvoted...

If you believe in logic, it is my duty to put up a convincing argument that is logical and beyond any reasonable doubt. My faith demands that I do this intelligently and respectfully.

True Faith is not blindly believing in something you can not explain.

True faith is based on tangible evidence, facts that are confirmable.

I admire your thoughts. You are a real gentleman. We may have different opinion about certain things but this doesn't mean we are rivals or enemies. This is the mantra of life. Thanks!
