Same but different...
A friend sent me a photo this morning, a pot of Japanese roses blooming in her garden. The same species she gave me last year. Well, she gave me a few variants but only this one survived. "Just stick them into the soil and they will grow", she said. I looked at mine and wondered, where are my roses?

What can I say...at times the conditions make the difference and I can assure you that rarely "just stick them into the soil" works out.
Can be some extra fertilizers? Or you could have a good talk ...
Btw, I also saw the advertisement of a free app, it turns out you should pay for it, where you can upload a photo of your plant and it tells you how to take care of it: milk, sugar, raw egg....

I do talk to them but maybe not enough. I added some fertilizers too. I suspect maybe not enough sun because my friend's garden has sun throughout. I live in a condo and the sun direction keep moving 😞
