Yes, they did. The police website where you can check whether you have been hacked and whether your data has been passed on is also running well behind schedule, but there are two others where you can also check. This is the biggest hack of the... century, or is it since time immemorial?
I am no longer using my SIM card; my daughter is spending all day blocking numbers that are harassing her, and my son is changing all his passwords. He received a notification that attempts had been made to hack his accounts, including from Venezuela.
It takes an enormous amount of time and money to replace everything.
The Dutch Consumers' Association is clearly not doing anything either, as I understood from an interview. In the event of mass litigation, they assume that there was intent involved. According to them, it was human error (I disagree with this if you store data for 10 years or more, which is not permitted).

I'm sorry in your country became so hard to live. Have you ever planned to move elsewhere?

Not easy with children and I moved many times, emigrated included and have a home abroad to keep my youngest two safe. But if it comes to moving one should be able to start a life, generate an income and this isn't easy for a single woman. No matter where you go, youi are always seen as the unwanted foreigner. There's a lot of envy, more than a person can cope with at times. Envy based on nothing. Hard work yes, but that's not what people see, same for dealing with a very low income.

Sadness. Unemployment and low income became a plague here and there (less than in the Scandinavian countries, I listened).

It's not always about being a plague but also about not hiring foreigners especially not if they are from Europe.

The other way round compared to Italy, France (and very probably Spain), where the trend is (at least, it was until I lived and studied in the souther Europe) to mostly hire people from northern Africa, Middle-West and India...
Ps.: it's not a racist comment: politicians simply didn't stand for unemployed French, Spanish and Italians
