Sunshine

He was almost finished with his daily walk. He used to walk at this time of the day, the dawn. It is always giving him the energy and help him be more productive during the day. When he was almost reached home, he came close to the lake to see a woman standing, and he was surprised for seeing her there!

He slowed down his steps. Kept staring at the lady, as he was not used to see anyone young at this time of the day. The girl was standing still, and never moved a bit. The only thing that moved was her traditional wear, coming to the side with every wave. She seemed as if she was a sculpture. He came closer slowly, until he was few steps behind her. He said, can I offer you some help? Her answer had made question, if this is reality or if he is just dreaming right now.

She seemed as if she was talking to him all along. Explaining to him, what he could see with his own eyes. The calm waters of the lake, the feel of air breezes on the skin and the sound of different birds all around. As, if they are all waiting with us for a chance to see the sunshine.

She looked at him for the first time. With that exchange of stares, she told him, let's go dad. It is time to prepare a breakfast. She grabbed his hand and walked with him back home.
