What makes you believe the Netherlands is only Amsterdam a place where you hardly find any Dutch people famous for canals and dogshit everywhere? You can laugh, but it's even mentioned in songs (Tol Janse) and so true

What to think about 's Hertogenbosch (= des Hertog's Bosch and Bosch = bos (translated: woods).
Translated: from the Duke of Woods. It has the same to offer as Amsterdam: canals and you can even take a boat and go underneath the old city.

Bossche Bol, an awesome treat

From Central Station you easily walk (straight ahead) into the inner city where you can take dozens of photos and will find dozens of places where you can find the Bossche Bol to be served. There are even workshops and Bosche bollen trips and a fun musea telling you all about this with whipped cream filled treat

It was very cold that day we decided to get out of the train on our way home to look around. Still people were sitting outside on terrasses with heaters or buying fish.

Enjoy life as long as you can and unlike what some say good memories help you through hardships.
