I agree with you. The lonekiness and missing starts when someone shows up (out of the blue/after many years) and you start taking them into account.
Solo gives the rhythm one can do as liked, feel fullfilled and live in own pace.

For me, being alone means a time of reflection. Then I have to get out of that depth and move forward with the projects, which, thank God, are always many.
Projects are great distractions + need time to focus on.
It's goid to be busy to stay or at least try tovstay out of the depth. Too long makes it harder to bounch back.
