RE: Sanity - NO - a descision made

in CCC2 days ago

I have a really slow day. I intended to paint but leave it for today. I replied, commented and it's enough. Tomorrow is another day and if not there's nothing lost.

It takes a lot of time to comment and that's why most don't care. They want the fat upvotes from SC01 or SC02 or a booming upvote. They don't want to invest time in interacting with other Steemians. The questions is: What will happen if those votes are no longer be given? Who will upvote you? Steemit is developed with the idea we upvote another. There never been SC teams as Steemit started and all I see during the past years is that a certain group drained the rewarding pool and next left or a small group still doesn't. I find it a pity it works this way. To many it takes the joy of social media away and the lies continue that you will be highly rewarded if, if, if, if...

It's what the Roman emperor would say: give the people games and bread and the idiots are distracted from what really goes on.

I do agree with you about the Roman saying...It's actually true. And 4 years ago I also thought like the commoners...I posted and mostly often I then disappeared... And made no social engagement.... But eventually I was disappointed and left steemit....But now I am not to earn but to love and communicate...earning is secondary here because I have another profession...so I switched to current strategy... I do upvote (though don't have such power to notice), I do comments as more I can (even in the break of office work) and i write post...I think this should be the thing and not just have earning goal in mind.....but to be kind, socialized and enjoy...
