RE: Sanity - NO - a descision made

in CCC28 days ago

Actually, no one talks to me so no need to say yes or no., but I said a NO yesterday as I was asked to help cleaning up the shop. No way. I want to paint plus my foot still hurts. I only go outside to paint.

It still snows ☹️

I hope you have a relaxed weekend. I will finish my painting, finish watching Silo, waitfor the groceries to be delivered tonight and stay in bed as much as I can.

😁 hat on to keep my brains warms

That's thick snow! Must be so cold. Do you wear socks too sleep too?

Yes I do wear socks to sleep with because the floors are called and if I have to get out in the middle of the night to finish it the toilet I don't like to do so with bare feet.

I wear socks and slipper at home and to sleep too. Not because it's cold but I love the comfortable feeling. But some of the socks just make me feel unwell because I could feel the seam and the material is not breathy enough for me.
I know that cold floor when I travelled to colder countries. I almost jumped stepping out of the shower and out of the bathroom.

The same applies to me: not all socks are comfortable to wear, even during the day, because of the seams or because they are simply too tight around my feet. On the other hand, there are socks that I call soft and that I also wear at home during the day, but they are a bit more difficult to wear in shoes because they are soft and a bit thicker and don't fit as well, so you can easily lose them. I also wear slippers because I don't like walking on 'dirty' floors.

People were sharing how we can wear the socks inside out so that the seams won't 'touch' our feet. Maybe you can try that too. I did try a few times but because the socks are kinda low quality and didn't have a proper shape, so I still feel uncomfortable.

Slipper keeps the floor cleaner too because there tend to be some natural sebum from our feet that left prints on the floor.
