How old is this child? I believe you have written about this before, but I do not share your opinion. Children are perfectly capable of working and do not need to just hang around at home and be waited on hand and foot. Everything you learn at a young age becomes automatic when you are older, which is a huge advantage in adult life. In our country, children's school bags alone weigh 10 to 20 kilos, so even small children aged 6, 7, 8 are already carrying heavy weights. And I'm not even talking about children who have to cycle to school for an hour in all weathers, torrential rain, hailstorms, it doesn't matter. That's also perfectly normal. It's like going shopping and lugging a week's worth of groceries home. It's not as bad as lazy adults, and more and more adults are getting that helping hand from young adults. You see a clear difference between the older people in the workplace and the young people who often don't even want to work anymore and are simply spoiled by their parents. I think this is a big mistake in parenting. I always tell my son: nobody wants a lazy person. It's okay to rest, but you also have to know what work is, and at least my son knows that, and I don't think that's anything to be ashamed of. My grandmother always said: you can rest when you're in your grave. You don't learn anything by staying at home and watching television or just lying in bed sleeping. No knowledge of human nature, no understanding of traffic, no business acumen, no clever ways to solve problems. All things that this boy is learning in abundance. How old is he actually? He doesn't seem that young to me.
