I find it strange to live in a gated community with a doorman and security. I don't think you really find that in our country, and I wonder if there are other reasons why that is the case for you, probably because it's simply not safe to live in your own home without it, so security is provided.
I also dislike dog owners who let their dogs poop in your garden. And I know that happened, and then someone casually said to me: you should just put a fence around your garden. The dog owner in question literally stood in my garden to let the dog do its business there. That was the first and last time he did that.
Nowadays, the rules are different again. If you have a dog and it poops on the street, you have to clean it up. There are dog poop bags that you have to use to clean up the poop, and there are also special bins for dog poop bags. Not everyone will do that, but at least it's a lot cleaner, and anyone who doesn't and gets caught will be fined £100. I think that's fair, because I've often had to wait outside schools or shops where people drag their dogs inside and the dogs poo all over the place. It's incredibly disgusting, and children and you yourself always end up standing in it. You literally see a small patch of grass with dog poo next to dog poo. It's a shame that a dog can't bury it like I would, that would make a big difference. Feeding the dog better food would also help, because there are literally dogs that poo themselves empty. There's no end to it and everything that comes out is definitely not needed by the body.
