RE: Remember forgotten memories

in CCC18 days ago

My first memories are from the age of two years old and I can tell you they aren't good at all. In a erage I don't keep my thought busy thinking them over, but there must be a good reason I remember them including the environment. In a way they were more impressive than other things I saw or experienced, at least in a toddler's mind.

There's a good reason why we forget, and digging into it can bring an enormous harm not to mention the fact therapists jumping into the wrong conclusions.

I find it amazing you can stop the overthinking, which indeed effects the mood. What acts or thoughts are needed to make that possible?

Of it comes to the painting: it's part of the manga anatomy I practice with paint + pencil (not at the same time).

Thank you for your comment.
A super Saturday!

Wow 2 years is really so young to remember things but I understand, our brain has enough capacity to store memories. Well not like I am strong when it comes to overthinking, but I am beginning to practice self consciousness and been aware of when I am going deep into that realm of thinking too much.

so what I usually do is I notice my body usually gives me signs when my mind cant focus, I do notice having a discomfort in my chest due to anxiety but my remedy is i try to redirect your mind to something interesting eg exercise, drawing, taking a walk and trying to feel my mind with something positive. Trust me it’s not always easy but self awareness and consistency is key.

The best remedy is never to entertain overthinking in the first place because it can even make you indecisive in situations where you need to make a stand.

Good to know about your painting.

I think that many creative people also think a lot and have been through a lot. Taking a walk doesn't help me; my brain is always running at full speed, and lately even more so. Strangely enough, that started a few months ago when I had a certain rhythm in my head for writing poems. A certain cadence in which I think and do everything.

Sitting quietly and breathing in and out helps me better, also for falling asleep. Then the night is over in no time and, unfortunately, far too short.

I wish you strength and, above all, a relaxed day.

I personally believe that if we think a lot, we also have a lot to process or are simply taking in too many impressions. This is a trait of sensitive people. They see, hear, and smell everything.

I am glad you figured a mechanism to cope with it a lot of people cant and it’s sad, we are the authors of our live and we have to fight back.

What even makes it more interesting is that a lot or creatives are very sensitive we process things a lot. Ahahhaahahahahha
Have a blessed Sunday 🫶🏻
