I’ve tried Lidl’s cornflour spaghetti. Let me put it this way: they smell a bit odd and don’t taste all that great, but they’re not exactly inedible. I’d actually forgotten to mention that, by the way: that it’s available here these days and that it’s ridiculously expensive, whereas over there it’s just normal food, simply because cornflour is many times cheaper than wheat flour. That was actually the reason back then, and this was quite a few years ago.
It certainly doesn’t look very promising; I think I’ll have a look tomorrow to see if I can find a few tins to stock up on.
