Here in this Community, we’re all about creativity and supporting one another. Supporting one another often falls short, because it involves not just reading and leaving a comment, but also giving each other an upvote – but we’ll keep trying. Creativity knows no bounds and often no rules either, which is why this Community doesn’t have many either. We don’t use the ‘report to moderator’ function; we simply choose whether or not to leave a message. It should remain a relaxed experience for everyone, as reading through posts and writing comments takes up a huge amount of time. I believe we have a lovely Community here, and many of us also post in a few others where things aren’t taken too seriously either. The only thing we don’t accept here is participation in the recent ‘thediarygame’ project. This is because the entries always have boring titles and often just list the things done in a day. Besides, after all these years, there hasn’t been much improvement in many people’s writing style.
You’re also welcome to take part in competitions if you feel like it, but of course you don’t have to. Focusing on your own niche – in your case, stories – is always best.
