I don’t really believe in change anymore. The problem is that the curators – or those whose job it is to guide others – need to be helpful, offering tips and advice that actually work, and this used to apply to those welcoming newcomers as well. When they aren’t on the same page, don’t share the same opinion and – as @thegorilla pointed out at the time – literally need to have every single step spoon-fed to them, and even when everything is spelled out on paper, it still isn’t read or is misunderstood, then there’s nothing to be done. This probably also means that only people who can read with understanding – and perhaps don’t need to translate anything – can take on this task, as well as those who haven’t made a name for themselves by carrying out all sorts of tasks for the Steemit Team.

What bothers me most of all is that community rules are being ignored by the improvers, who simply penalise people for taking part in creative competitions and following the rules.

It’s sad, but without creative curators who are open-minded and flexible – and not too business-minded to realise that the old method doesn’t work – this platform won’t last long, at least not with a Steem that still has any value.

Perhaps that’s the only upside. The greedy ones will disappear, and the rest will stay until the last server pulls the plug.

El problema es que los curadores, o quienes deben guiar a los demás, deben ser serviciales, dar consejos y recomendaciones que realmente funcionen, y esto también se aplicaba antes a quienes daban la bienvenida a los recién llegados. Cuando estos no están en sintonía, no comparten la misma opinión y, como ya señaló @thegorilla en su momento, necesitan que se les explique literalmente cada paso, e incluso si todo está detallado por escrito, si esto no se lee o se malinterpreta, entonces no hay nada que hacer. Esto probablemente también significa que solo las personas que pueden leer con comprensión y tal vez tampoco necesiten traducir nada pueden asumir esta tarea, además de aquellas que no han llegado a donde están por realizar todo tipo de tareas para el equipo de Steemit.

Lo que más me molesta es que los improvers ignoran las reglas de las comunidades y simplemente sancionan a las personas cuando participan en concursos creativos y siguen las reglas.

Es triste, pero sin curadores creativos que sean abiertos y flexibles, y que no sean lo suficientemente pragmáticos como para comprender que el método antiguo no funciona, esta plataforma no tendrá una vida larga, al menos no con un Steem que aún tenga algún valor.

Quizás esa sea la única ventaja. Los codiciosos desaparecerán y el resto se quedará hasta que el último servidor se apague.
