I feel the same and it is not the first time.
We only reach out to someone and truly connect if it comes from both sides. In this case it is a waste of energy.
Do not keep saying 'sorry' you did nothing wrong.
I often understand many things in life too late, and later I regret that I didn't do it the way I did in this case.
