Sometimes I share about my hobbies, entertainment and tastes, this time I want to comment on the death of a Japanese artist who created a particular style in Manga and #Anime, I mean Leiji Matsumoto, a mangaka who died recently, and I found out about his death today.

This artist has a style in his drawing that is easily recognized, that is well known when reviewing his works a bit, which include several #TV series and animated films, as well as #Manga illustrations, among whose titles we have :
- Space Pirate Captain Harlock
- Galaxy Express 999
- Queen Emeraldas
- Space Battleship Yamato
- Queen Millennia (Known in Latin America as The Princess of the Thousand Years)
- and many others.

The memory I have of his work from four decades ago was revived some 20 years ago with his participation in the film Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem (2003), in which Matsumoto collaborated with Daft Punk, initially, he designed the characters for the animation of the #music videos that the Daft Punk musician couple used to accompany the songs of their album Discovery

Perhaps among the songs that I remember the most from this series of music videos is the first one #video, “One More Time”, which you can enjoy from the Daft Punk #YouTube channel:
Also, for nostalgia reasons, I like to recommend the complete movie with all the #music, which you can enjoy from the Internet Archive at (although the version that the archive has stored seems to me to have some audio problems):

Anyway, I wanted to do a farewell post to a cartoonist who created some of the works I enjoyed in my youth.
Rest in peace Leiji Matsumoto, and I wish his legacy long life.

En ocasiones comparto sobre mis aficiones, entretenimientos y gustos, en esta ocasión quiero comentar sobre el fallecimiento de un artista japones que creó un estilo particular en el Manga y el #Anime, me refiero a Leiji Matsumoto, una mangaka que murió hace poco, y yo me enteré de su deceso el día de hoy.

Este artista tiene un estilo en su dibujo que se reconoce con facilidad, eso es muy conocido al revisar un poco sus obras, que incluyen varias series de #TV y películas de animación, además de ilustraciones de #Manga, entre cuyos títulos tenemos:
- Space Pirate Captain Harlock
- Galaxy Express 999
- Queen Emeraldas
- Space Battleship Yamato
- Queen Millennia (Conocida en Latinoamérica como La Princesa de los Mil Años)
