Dear friends, I hope everyone is well. I am also, Alhamdulillah, doing very well by the endless mercy of Allah. I extend greetings of the holy month of Ramadan to all Muslims and to friends of other faiths as well. This month of Ramadan is a holy month, and one of its acts of worship is the Tarawih prayer. This prayer is according to the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). For performing Sunnah, one of the significant acts of worship is the Tarawih prayer

We also know that this holy month is the month when the Quran was revealed. When the Quran was revealed upon Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), it was revealed in this month. And for this reason, we call this month the month of the Quran. And this month is about illuminating oneself with the light of the Quran. That is why the recitation of the Quran holds so much importance during this month

And since Taraweeh prayers are a major act of worship in the month of Ramadan, the recitation during Taraweeh will be the recitation of the Quran. As always, through Quran recitation, I along with my students complete the recitation of the Quran during the Taraweeh prayers. Alhamdulillah, as every time, this process is continuing once again. May Allah grant us the ability to correctly complete the recitation of the Quran

Here, the Tarawih prayer is taking place, and the Tarawih prayer is established for a long period. Those who perform the Surah Tarawih prayer might understand that, at minimum, it takes an hour to complete 20 Rak'ah prayer. And if the Quran is completed, then it takes about one and a half to two hours

But here our madrasa extends up to the 20th Taraweeh because on the 20th day of fasting, our institution closes, and all the teachers and students go home. That is why our Khatm finishes on the 20th Taraweeh. To complete a Khatm in that time, we have to follow a method, which is to recite two para from the first day in every prayer. Although towards the end, it is acceptable to recite one and a half para in one go. Therefore, our prayer time is a bit longer

This picture is related because here, both younger and older children are present, and students of ages 9, 10, and 12 are also there. All these students have been learning from a young age how to perform the prayers and how to recite the Quran. They are memorizing the Quran, and after completing their Hifz, when they become Hafiz, they will still be able to lead prayers because they have experience. May Allah grant all of us the ability to complete the Taraweeh prayers through the recitation of the Quran
